Dear
Amy,
Congratulations
to you and your staff on the opening of K-9 Korner in its new location!
The new store is absolutely perfect, convenient, and beautiful,
and there is plenty of space so that your business can continue
to grow…and the dogs can continue to play!
Location is
NOT everything, however, because you and your staff are the real
reason that K-9 Korner is so successful. Not only are you and your
staff genuinely customer-friendly but, more importantly, you are
also doggy-friendly. Your expertise shines through every time we
visit with our dog Miranda.
As you know,
Miranda is a chow/lab mix with a four-inch thick fur coat, much
too hot for our Florida weather. She loves to have that coat cut
short, but more than that, she truly loves K-9, She prances through
the door at K-9 Korner, and everyone greets her. She eats up that
special attention! Then she prances through the door when we get
home because she is so pleased. I think she is showing off her haircut,
along with the new colorful bandana and stick-on earrings that the
groomer always gives her. Even though she is an old dog-14 years
old-she still likes to dress up! In other words, I am happy that
Miranda is so happy and Stress-free.
So thank you
for being the kind, dog-loving person you are, and for all the special
attention you and your staff at K9 Korner give our dog Miranda.
If she could talk in words, I know she too would say thank you,
but you'll have to settle for "Woof" and a lick on the face!
Sincerely,
Jacque and Bob

K9 Korner is
the best!
For the past
year and a half, my Mom & Dad have brought me to see Miss Amy
to make me more appealing. My previous groomer shaved me naked and
hid my fur. I looked positively ugly. I was not meant to have short
hair.
I also had no
hair on my rear or back end. Miss Amy suggested that my Mom &
Dad change my food to Wellness and my hair would grow back; it did.
I now have a
sister thanks to Miss Amy. She told my Mom where to get another
like me. I love her and we play well together.
Miss Amy is
a good person and knows what she is talking about. Her new shop
is just beautiful and my sister & I love to visit.

Realizing that
Bosco was going to weigh more than me, I decided to take him to
obedience class. Though he is only 7 months old, he was a bit much
to walk. He pulled and tugged and I followed him. Fearing my safety
off we went to obedience class. The very first night our instructor
gave each of us a "gentle lead". Gentle lead? It is a
thin strap that slips over the nose of the dog. It resembles a muzzle
but it doesn't prevent them form using their mouth. They can still
eat, drink, and I guess bite if they are so inclined. Anyway, when
she gave it to us, she promised that it will prevent our dog form
pulling. I became "Doubting Thomas". You got to be kidding,
this is going to prevent my miniature pony from pulling me?"
Why not just use sewing thread for that will work just as well.
He is over ninety pounds. I need a choke collar. Better yet I need
a choke collar with little thorns on it. If they pull they get the
point. I was convinced I needed something rough and something that
will let the dog know that a bit of pain will follow. Gentle lead,
right. Bosco is no French Poodle.
I put it on
him. He resisted at first, but adjusted to it. Our instructor had
us walk our dogs around the field. Oh boy this is going to be fun.,
Believe it or not, Bosco did not pull. Beginner's luck I thought.
Wait until he sees a squirrel or stray cat. Well he did, and nothing
happened. He lunged but then stopped. This gentle e lead seems to
do the trick. Women and children can now walk the streets, Bosco
is under control. I am delighted for I am not in favor of those
choke collars. Would you want to be choked?
Love, Father

My name is Korky
I'm a six year old male Shih Tzu. Every 5 weeks my Mommy takes me
to K-9 Korner to see Amy and her wonderful staff. Always without
fail the day before I get a phone call to remind me that I have
a grooming appt. That's when the fun begins. Mommy starts telling
me it's time to go see Amy and get my hair cut. I can't wait. I
tilt my head from side to side and I pucker my little lip with a
smile because I know Amy Loves me and really treats me good. I get
real home baked treats that are good for me. I get to have play
time with my friends and sometimes if Amy is all caught up I get
to be out of my kennel just spending time with Amy and the staff.
If I could talk I would tell the whole world that when my mommy
found K-9 Korner Grooming we found a whole staff of Guardian Angels.

We highly recommend
K-9 Korner for their superior grooming, healthy food and Dog Obedience
Training. Our dogs have loved the food and going to the "Beauty
Shop". Amy the owner conducts the obedience training classes.
Her gentle loving spirit, coupled with firmness, have been key in
training discipline and enabling us to enjoy our dogs. We have had
a great experience working with Amy and her staff.

Want to thank
you for giving Buddy a wonderful name. It is strange to say but
we could tell Buddy had a great time. He was also very sleepy. Here
is Buddy at home with his new look.

Dalton, a miniature
schnauzer, has been getting "spiffed up" at K-9 KORNER
every 5 weeks for 2 years. He gets really excited when we pull into
the parking lot. He ENTERS HAPPY and LEAVES HAPPY! He look and feels
great every time he goes! Amy aims to please her customers. I highly
recommend K-9 KORNER for any of your pets.

First, let me
say that my animals - in this case - my dogs are a part of my family
and I am very particular regarding their care and treatment.
I had Smokey
and The Bandit groomed at K9 KORNER for a long time. They are both
going to the Rainbow Bridge now. They both got excellent, caring
treatment by Amy and her staff. In particular, we had to put Smokey
down just a month ago. He was an "old man" and when he
would come, he was treated with extra care and gentleness every
visit. His arthritis was so bad, he could hardly stand but I never
had to worry that someone there would mistreat him.
Now we have
adopted Shelby from the Halifax Humane Society. She is a 4-year
old Australian shepard/sheltie. I have taken her to K9 KORNER twice
now and she doesn't seem to mind going there. She was a mistreated
dog when we got her and she was skittish in places she did not know...but
she was not afraid to be left at K9 Korner. I think she senses that
the personnel thee are kind and would not hurt her.
The new facility
that Amy has now is wonderful! It is clean, all kinds of pet products
are displayed nicely, and the treats are made on the premises. The
new facility happens to be closer to my house but if it were further,
I would still take my animals to Amy. There is no better facility
anywhere!

Thank you so
much K-9Korner for the outstanding care given to my pets whenever
they are there. I am not apprehensive in the least when I drop
off the boys for their grooming. I had been to a few other
places and to say I was unhappy would be an understatement .
The boys look
great and I am always interested in the new products you keep getting
in to increase the joy we share with our pets.
Thank you so
much Amy
